Job Description:
Recovery Worker
Service Care Solutions are supporting a reputable non-profit provider and they are currently recruiting for a Recovery Worker. As a Recovery Worker you will play a crucial role by supporting individuals that are suffering with Drug & Alcohol addiction. The Ideal candidate needs to be experienced within the field but also someone who is highly driven and can identify positivity within a service user and have the ability to develop potential within.
You will be responsible for managing a case load of client with Substance Misuse issues across South Wales. You will be engaging with Adults and families to help support and help them on their road to Recovery. You will work closely with a range of partner agencies to support young people to achieve positive changes whilst providing opportunities to improve their life chances for a brighter future.
Key role and responsibilities for a Recovery Worker;
*To build relationships with Adults and Families
*Provide clients and families advice, information and help to access practical support
*To carry a caseload of Clients with Substance Misuse issues
*Carrying out assessments, care planning, brief and comprehensive interventions
Minimum requirements for a Recovery Worker;
*Experience of working within the Substance Misuse field
*Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and as part of a team
*Experience of community engagement
*Experience of delivering group work
