Day-to-day of the role:
*Develop and implement an engaging History curriculum that caters to all types of learners.
*Lead the History faculty, drawing on extensive teaching and leadership experience to achieve high standards and pupil outcomes.
*Coach and motivate colleagues to meet individual and collective educational targets.
*Foster an environment that encourages innovation and creativity to engage and progress learners.
*Maintain high standards of teaching and learning, and ensure sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
*Ability to teach History to GCSE standard.
*Proven track record of improving standards and raising pupil outcomes.
*Experience in leading a team or faculty within a school setting.
*Strong organisational and motivational skills.
*Ability to engage, enthuse, and progress learners through innovative and creative teaching methods.
