CLA (Children Looked After) Tutor
Pro rata of £26,451 - £28,907 per annum (i.e. £9,196.81 - £10,050.74)
14.8 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
Are you looking for that ideal part time, term time only role that will make a real difference to learners’ lives and college journey?
As our CLA Tutor, you will manage the Personal Education Plan (PEP) process across Northbrook and Worthing Colleges to improve the educational attainment of students who are Care Experienced, Children Looked After (CLA) including unaccompanied asylum seekers (UAS).
You will have an understanding of the study needs, options and progression opportunities for post 16 learners, and also an understanding of Trauma Informed Practice and ACES. You also need to hold a Level 3 Coaching/Mentoring qualification or have the willingness to work towards achievement of this qualification.
