Part qualified Accountant | £35-50,000 + study support if required

As a key member of one of our Business Services team, you will support the Manager and handle all aspects of work for a portfolio of clients. You will provide solutions and advice on statutory accounts, audit, accounting and VAT advice, and self-assessment corporate and personal tax returns.

Key Responsibilities of the part qualified Accountant role:
*Prepare statutory accounts, audit, VAT returns, payroll, and tax returns.
*Ensure year-end files are complete with backup schedules.
*Maintain consistent quality in all work.
*Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
*Supervise, manage, motivate, and train junior staff.
*Review VAT returns and understand VAT requirements.
*Provide ad hoc advisory services.
Relevant Experience
*Experience in a busy, fast-paced environment.
*Proficient in preparing statutory accounts, audit, VAT returns, payroll, and tax returns.
*Provide ad hoc advisory services.
*Previous experience in public practice or outsourcing.
*Supervise, manage, motivate, and train junior staff.
Qualifications and Systems Requirements
*Excellent knowledge of Outlook/Microsoft packages.
*Experience in various accounting software packages.
*Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and SUMIFS.
*ACA or ACCA part-qualified, finalist, or recently qualified.
