Production Engineer

*Up to £50k per annum
*Based near Wokingham
*Mon – Fri, 8am to 5pm, 45hrs per week

Syntech Recruitment are searching for a Production Engineer for our sub-contract client based out near Wokingham. This role will involve daily CAM programming using Hypermill as well as some production planning and production engineering duties.

Production Engineer Duties

*Create CAD/CAM programs using Hypermill software
*Run first offs on 3,4 and 5 axis CNC Milling machines before passing to operators to complete batchwork
*Self inspection of first offs as required
*Helping assist with production planning schedule for the shop floor
*Work with the management team to make business critical decisions

Production Engineer Profile

*Proven experience programming 3,4,5 axis CNC milling machines using CAD/CAM software. Our client uses Hypermill but proven experience with any package will be considered.
*Experience working within precision engineering industries (Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace etc)
*Able to set and operate 3,4,5 axis CNC milling machines as required (Mazak ideally but any machinery is considered)
*Experience of leading a small team of CNC Machinists
*Keen attitude and looking to progress quickly.
