Picture Framer
Location: South Woodham Ferrers, Essex
Salary: Very Competitive depending on experience (£27,000 to £32,000 per annum)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday’s

About the role
What you’ll be doing...
*Measure, cut, and assemble frames according to customer specifications.
*Cutting glass, mount board, foam board, backing boards and other materials.
*Select appropriate materials and tools for framing projects.
*Mount artwork using various techniques, including float-mounting.
*Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Machinery and tools you will use include:
*Morso
*Circular saw-cutting machines
*Underpinners, various models
*Point drivers
*CNC mount cutting machines
Experience Required:
*Minimum 1 year previous experience as a picture framer.
*If no previous experience as a framer, then 2 years minimum experience as a second-fix carpenter or a bench joiner would be essential.
*Good quality work and an eye for fine detail is necessary.
*Ability to work independently to tight deadlines and across multiple projects simultaneously.
*Full UK driving license
