We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Law to join a thriving secondary school in Leeds on a part-time basis from January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to teach and inspire students.

What We’re Looking For
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and relevant examination boards.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality lessons in Law, ensuring engaging and effective teaching methods.
• Plan, prepare, and mark work to support student progress and attainment.
• Foster a love for learning and critical thinking through innovative teaching strategies.
• Assess, track, and report on student performance in line with school policies.
• Support students in preparing for exams, offering tailored guidance where necessary.
• Promote inclusive practices to ensure all students can access the curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share resources and best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and integrate them into lessons.
• Actively contribute to the wider life of the school, including attendance at meetings and parent consultations.
