Family Liaison Officer *Location: Ashford
*Salary: 120 - 150
*Contract Type: Full time, Temp to perm
Join our dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all our students. We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Family Liaison Officer to enhance our collaborative approach and strengthen community ties.
Day-to-day of the role: *Act as the main point of contact for families, providing information, support, and guidance.
*Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
*Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and events to engage families in the school community.
*Assist families in accessing resources and services, both within the school and in the wider community.
*Work closely with school staff to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
*Maintain accurate records and documentation of interactions with families.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Experience working in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
*Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by families of children with special educational needs.
*Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
*Relevant qualifications in education, social work, or a related field are desirable.
