Paralegal - Commercial Property Department, Property Finance Team

Key Responsibilities
As a paralegal in the Property Finance team, your responsibilities will include:
Team Tasks
*Proactively handling team assignments and assisting with quote requests.
*Reviewing instructions from client banks and initiating communication with relevant parties.
*Identifying and advising on early issues in instructions.
*Drafting, reviewing, and issuing security paperwork, including ensuring executed versions meet requirements.
*Conducting pre-completion searches and managing fund transfers for fee earner files.
*Assisting with the preparation of management reports for client banks.
Title Insurance Conveyancing
*Reviewing initial lending and title paperwork.
*Identifying, resolving, and complying with title insurance requirements.
*Liaising with stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and lender requirements.
*Preparing certificates of title and attending to the registration of applicable documents.
Full Due Diligence Conveyancing
*Reviewing facility letters, valuation reports, and compliance requirements.
*Conducting thorough title investigations, planning assessments, and document reviews.
*Raising inquiries and ensuring adequacy of transactional and occupational documents.
*Preparing bespoke indemnity insurance as required and addressing additional lender conditions.
*Managing the registration of transfers and lender charges within required timelines.
About You
We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and experience:
*Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably in property finance or commercial property.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
*Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
*Confidence in working independently while adhering to team procedures.
*Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in typing and PC navigation.
*Professionalism when interacting with colleagues, senior partners, lawyers, and clients.
*A desire to learn, develop, and contribute to business development.
