Transactional Finance Manager - Global Shared Service Centre
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid working model)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Bonus + Company Benefits
Are you a dynamic and strategic finance leader with a flair for operational detail? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, global environment where no two days are the same? If so, we want you to join our client’s Global Shared Service Centre in Birmingham as Transactional Finance Manager.
About the Role As the Transactional Finance Manager, you will:
*Lead and inspire an international team of 15 FTE, ensuring high performance and engagement.
*Manage relationships with our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partner, measuring and aligning SLA and KPI targets.
*Take ownership of cash and banking, P2P, AR, GL, and cash operations, ensuring the seamless posting of transactions for our entire service line.
*Oversee the management of over 100 bank accounts, including customer receipts, supplier payments, tax payments, and payroll.
*Be hands-on as the team transitions from a manual to a more automated approach over the next 18 months.
*Drive strategic programmes and change management initiatives while resolving escalations with confidence and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities *Champion stakeholder management across global operations.
*Support and implement change management projects to improve processes and efficiencies.
*Deliver accurate and timely financial transaction services while maintaining compliance.
*Foster a resilient and positive team culture that thrives under pressure and delivers results.
What We’re Looking For *Minimum 5 years experience in cash and banking, P2P, accounts receivable, General Ledger, and SSC team leadership.
*Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and change management experience.
*Positive, and resilience are essential to succeed in this role.
*Hands on approach:Comfortable with manual processes during a transitional phase.
*Proven ability to lead international teams and manage global operations.
