Job Description:
We are collaborating closely with a popular and over-subscribed secondary school in Hammersmith and Fulham to recruit a new Geography teacher for their humanities department starting in January 2025.
The role
As the Geography teacher in this school, your role involves planning and presenting high quality Geography lessons and instructing students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You would be responsible for encouraging participation in lessons to inevitably boost overall pupil confidence within the subject. This opportunity suits an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a experienced Geography Teacher looking to progress in their teaching career within the school’s growing humanities department.
The ideal Geography Teacher
The school believes the quality of staff is crucial to pupils’ success and therefore the successful Geography Teacher must have the following:
*Degree in Geography or an appropriate related subject
*Ability to teach Geography across KS3/KS4
*A genuine interest in Geography, and the ability to motivate and inspire interest in the subject area
The school
Located in H&F, this school is well-known for its consistent delivery of impressive results every year. It is a highly sought-after and tightly knit community school that provides numerous career progression prospects for educators. The students exhibit good behaviour and a strong desire to learn, as the school upholds high standards for both its students and faculty, and the school are extremely proud of this. They look forward to appointing their new Geography Teacher who they believe will complete their strong and enthusiastic humanities team.
