About the Children in Need Team:
The Children in Need Team works with children and families requiring additional support to address challenges and improve outcomes. As a Social Worker in this vital team, you will:
Conduct assessments to identify risks and strengths within families.
Develop and implement effective Child in Need and Child Protection plans.
Provide tailored interventions to promote family stability and well-being.
Work collaboratively with schools, health professionals, and other agencies.
Ensure children’s voices are central to all decision-making processes.
Monitor progress and outcomes, ensuring the best interests of the child are prioritized.
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a qualified Social Worker.
Current registration with Social Care England.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures, child protection legislation, and family dynamics.
Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.
