Role Details:
Step into the role of a Customer Advisor (Market Services) and become the cornerstone of exceptional service delivery to retailers in the non-household market. Within the Wholesale Market Services department, you’ll ensure that United Utilities business customers assets are accurately represented in both external and internal systems. Your meticulous attention to detail will guarantee precise billing through settlements, driving the successful cycle of settlement activities and revenue collection.
Accountabilities:
*Deliver accurate market data in response to retailer requests and wholesale-initiated work streams, prioritising tasks based on market SLA’s.
*Update, amend, and verify market data with precision.
*Ensure all transactions are processed correctly in the market operating system, adhering to market data flows or manual processes as needed.
*Adhere to strict deadlines and keep retailers informed at every key stage.
*Identify and escalate any operational practices or processes that could jeopardise data quality, UU operational performance, or retailer satisfaction.
*Work closely with your team, the data cleanse team, wider wholesale market services teams
*Keep all systems updated to manage retailer expectations and satisfaction, reducing the chances of repeat contacts, escalations, complaints, or disputes.
*Stay informed about market changes, ensuring you understand new processes, workflows, and market SLA’s.
Knowledge and Skills:
*Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to investigate the root causes of market transaction outcomes.
*Broad knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
*Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of the Non-Household Market.
*Proven planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
*Comfortable managing your own work queue in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Core hours 8am - 6pm)
Training: Systems training will be provided
