Your new role

Hays Education are working with a number of schools based in Nottingham who are looking for a School Receptionist to join their team. The position will be from Monday to Friday, and is initially presented as a long-term temporary role with the potential to go permanent. As a School Receptionist, you will play an integral part in maintaining the vital functions of the school that ensure it runs smoothly.

Your duties may include:


*Meeting and greeting visitors to the school
*Supporting parents, staff and students with enquiries
*Directing incoming calls to the appropriate personnel
*General office administrative duties
What you’ll need to succeed


*Previous experience of working in a school office
*High level of verbal and written communication skills
*Good organisation and time management skills
*Excellent telephone manner
*Ability to work alone or as part of a team
*An enhanced DBS is required for this post.
