Job Description:
Michael Page is working with a highly reputable Southampton based business with their recruitment of a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their accountancy team on a temporary basis. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be a key part in supporting the existing team clear a backlog of work. The role is a hybrid position (3 in 2 at home).

Description
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for:
*Matching, coding and processing invoices
*Supplier statement reconciliations
*Dealing with supplier queries
*Preparing the payment run
*Reconciling purchase ledger balances to the general ledger
*Handling adhoc payment requests & seeking authorisation
*Investigating invoice discrepancies
Profile
The ideal candidate for the Purchase Ledger Clerk position, will have done most if not all of the above.
