Job Description:
Commercial Management Accountant
Are you looking to work in a high-growth business?
Our client operates across several industries, including two Foreign Exchange Brokerages, a Fintech hub, a Property Media Company, and a Luxury Property Brand. Their primary role is to educate and help individuals and businesses manage their risk.
Privately owned and self-funded, they are entrepreneurial, customer-focused, and ambitious, with plans to grow their business for the future.
They have achieved success through a consultative approach, a focus on technology, and a commitment to teamwork.
One of their key USPs is their ability to deliver excellent customer service, supported by their position as number one in two areas of Trustpilot for over a year. This recognition comes directly from their customers.
Our client is recruiting for a Commercial Management Accountant to join their growing business. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate: a high performer who is driven, proactive, and hungry to succeed. The successful candidate will work with motivated and capable individuals who view exceptional customer service, both internal and external, as standard and are dedicated to growing the business by more than 40% per annum.
This role is a full-time position based in London (with hybrid working) and reports to their Commercial Finance Manager.
Responsibilities
As a Commercial Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in their finance team. Key responsibilities include:
*Preparing and presenting accurate monthly management accounts.
*Conducting detailed financial analysis to support business decisions.
*Developing and monitoring key financial metrics and KPIs.
*Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
*Implementing and maintaining robust financial controls and procedures.
*Collaborating with various departments to ensure financial alignment and risk mitigation.
*Providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
Key Requirements
*CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
*MUST HAVE 3+ YEARS OF PROVEN MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE IN A TOP 10 ACCOUNTING FIRM
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Excellent knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
*Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
*Experience using Business Information systems such as QlikView or PowerBI.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
What They Offer
*A supportive and collaborative work environment.
*Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
*Competitive salary and benefits package.
Due to the high amount of interest that we receive for each of our roles unfortunately we cannot respond to each application individually, therefore if you do not hear back from one of our consultants you have not been shortlisted for this role.
Please note that our client is an equal opportunities Employer and adheres to all relevant legislation and offer services regardless of age, race, sex, disability, or religious belief.
