Job Description:
HR Manager *Annual Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (Negotiable for the right candidate)
*Location: Kent
*Job Type: Full-time
REED HR have partnered with a company in Kent who are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage our day-to-day HR processes and procedures. This role reports directly to the Senior Finance and Admin Manager and Directors, and is crucial in aligning HR strategy with business goals.
Day-to-day of the role: *Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy.
*Apply HR and business knowledge with appropriate decision-making skills.
*Advise managers on terms and conditions of employment and share best practices.
*Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
*Monitor and review HR policies, making necessary changes.
*Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
*Coordinate student social work placements and maintain HR trackers to ensure all deadlines are met.
*Provide HR induction for new employees and support the management during probation periods.
*Offer supervision to other members of the Business Support Team and cover Admin Support duties as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Degree level education is desirable.
*CIPD qualification is highly desirable.
*Proven HR experience of three to five years.
*Strong communication, conflict management, and ethical decision-making skills.
*Ability to maintain confidentiality and multitask effectively.
