Job Description:
Credit Controller /Administrator
York
Salary: £25k to £30k pa
Invigorate Recruitment is working with its client near York to recruit an additional team member into the finance team .
We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller / Administrator, who is studying or looking to study their AAT.
Purpose:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Credit Controller/ Administrator is responsible for managing the debts of the business, along with providing administrative support to the Finance, Sales and Client Services departments within the company.
Main Responsibilities Credit Controller/Administrator
*Managing and collecting debts from the company’s debtors
*Ensuring the timely collection of debt with agreed terms
*Following up on payments as needed
*Responding the client’s enquiries
*Agreeing potential repayment plans with the Account Management Team
*Checking and posting of receipts
*Provide cover within the Finance Team
*Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met
*Assist the Finance Manager with the processing of core accounts functions.
*Other accountancy/administrative duties as and when required.

*Excellent organizational skills
*Able to work accurately with good attention to details
*Understanding and maintaining confidentiality
*Ability to manage a diverse workload and work in a fast-moving environment
*Great communication skills with a friendly and flexible approach
*Excellent customer relation skills and professional / courteous telephone manner
Hours of work :8.30am-5pm Mon- Thurs , 8.30am-4pm Fri
