Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking to take the next step in your career with a well-established and successful company? Our client is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their finance team.
 
About the Role:
 
As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing the company’s credit control processes. You will ensure timely collection of outstanding payments, maintain positive relationships with customers, and work alongside other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
*Managing and maintaining customer accounts
*Chasing overdue payments via phone, email, and letter
*Resolving customer queries and disputes
*Maintaining accurate records and reports of payments
*Liaising with the finance team to ensure smooth cash flow
*Managing credit limits and assessing new customer credit applications
Skills and Experience:
*Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance role
*Strong communication and negotiation skills
*Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
*Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
*Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
*Experience with accounting software (preferably Sage) is a plus
