Role Responsibilities As a Senior Accountant, you’ll take ownership of client assignments and play a key role in supporting the wider team. Your responsibilities will include:
*Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements for a range of businesses
*Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met
*Reviewing and mentoring junior team members, helping them develop their skills
*Providing proactive advice to clients to improve their financial performance
*Assisting with ad hoc projects, including tax planning and business advisory services
*Liaising directly with clients to build and maintain strong professional relationships
*Staying up to date with changes in accounting regulations and standards

Candidate Requirements *ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with extensive experience in accounts preparation
*Proven ability to manage client portfolios within a practice environment
*Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and compliance requirements

*Experience mentoring and guiding junior staff members
*Ability to handle multiple deadlines and work effectively under pressure
*Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or similar systems is advantageous
