We’re looking for a Full-Stack/Python Developer to join an incredible company who bring businesses and communities together to make change happen from the grassroots up. They are B Corp certified and big believers in the power of business to do good. Their game-changing platform connects non-profits in need of funding with businesses who want to distribute funding and support their community. Since the platform’s launch 4 years ago they have partnered some of the UK’s biggest companies and have distributed over £4m in funding but they want to do more, scale up and multiply their impact!

The skills we’re looking for
*Experience with back-end languages specifically Python, Django (essential).
*Commercial experience building and scaling production grade web applications with front-end languages and libraries particularly React and/or Next.js.
*Database experience covering PostgreSQL etc.
*Experience building SaaS applications.
*Experience working with REST APIs.
*Interest and knowledge of UI/UX and design.
*A drive to make robust systems using approaches such as Jest Cypress and Storybook.
*An interest or passion for supporting charities community organisations not-for-profits.
What you’ll be doing

As part of a small team, you will be working closely with the Lead Developer and will be responsible for the full software development life cycle from conception to deployment. This role will have more of a back-end lean but you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages development frameworks and 3rd party libraries. You’ll design client-side and server-side architecture develop and manage databases and applications write APIs and build features and applications with a mobile responsive design. To ensure optimal responsiveness and efficiency you’ll test troubleshoot debug and upgrade software and work with the wider team to make improvements. They will look to you to contribute to product strategy, owning the implementation of new features and enhancements, maintaining documentation, making sure that the platform remains stable and scalable.

The role can be fully remote (UK only) but they’d be keen for you to attend quarterly meetings in Bristol. They’re looking for someone who is passionate about working on a Tech For Good product that is genuinely changing lives and helping those who need it the most.
