Job Description:
Role: Category Manager
Rate: £400 - £450
Location: Liverpool
Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Category Manager to join a Public Sector organisation in Liverpool on a 6-month contract.
The Role:
*Lead on procurement projects to achieve cashable savings and added value opportunities
*Prepare tender documentation and manage full processes above threshold
*Support procurement strategy delivery within assigned category areas
*Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
*Carry out bench marking activities and market analysis
*Negotiate with suppliers
*Advise on procurement process and look to improve procedures where possible
The Person:
*Previous experience within the Public Sector
*PCR2015 knowledge
*Ability to work multiple projects at once
*MCIPS or working towards desirable
*Available at short notice
