Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Assistant Arboriculturist to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to meaningful projects across the UK.

As an Assistant Arboriculturist, you’ll support a variety of projects. Your work will include:
*Conducting tree surveys for planning and construction projects in line with BS 5837:2012 standards.
*Assisting with tree health assessments, hazard evaluations, and risk surveys.
*Preparing Tree Survey Plans and Tree Protection Plans.
*Contributing to technical reports like Arboricultural Impact Assessments and Arboricultural Method Statements.
*Gathering data to advise clients on arboricultural issues.
*Supervising on-site tree protection measures during construction.
Assistant Arboriculturalist Requirements
Consultancy-based experience is ideal. You should have a background in a related field such as:
*Tree Surgery, Arboriculture, or Forestry.
*Ecology, Conservation, or Habitat Management.
*Planning, Local Authority, or Engineering.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*A Level 2 or higher qualification in arboriculture or a related environmental discipline.
*Excellent tree identification skills.
*Basic computer literacy (MS Word and Excel).
*A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable Skills:
*Membership in a professional body (e.g., Arboricultural Association, Royal Forestry Society).
*Experience with GIS or AutoCAD systems (training available).
*Report writing experience, particularly Arboricultural Impact Assessments or Method Statements.
*Knowledge of BS5837:2012 surveys or tree hazard assessments.
*Practical tree management experience.
