*Leading and managing audits in accordance with firm methodology and standards.
*Preparing and reviewing audit work papers and summaries of significant findings.
*Communicating with clients about their financial and operational processes.
*Mentoring and training junior team members.
*Ensuring compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements.
*Proactively managing financial reporting and audit risks.
*Managing client relationships and identifying opportunities for new business.
*Participating in team meetings and contributing to the company’s strategy and policy making.
*Potential to get involved with other aspects of the firm.
Profile
A successful Audit Senior should have:
*A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) or working towards a qualification.
*Proven experience in an Auditing role.
*Experience in leading Audits is preferable but not essential.
*Strong technical auditing knowledge with proficiency in IFRS.
*Excellent communication and leadership skills.
*Analytical ability and strong attention to detail.
