Operations Manager - Garment Manufacturer

As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to join the team and help drive the next phase of our success.
Role Overview:
Reporting to, and working closely with the Finance Manager, the Operations Manager will oversee and coordinate operations across sales, design, and manufacturing teams. This key role will ensure that production runs smoothly, orders are fulfilled on time and in full, and customer relationships are maintained and expanded. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a keen eye for process improvement, and a commitment to delivering operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
*Team Management: Lead and manage cross-functional teams including Sales, Design, and Manufacturing departments. Provide direction, support, and motivation to team members to ensure efficient operations.
*Process Implementation and Improvement: Develop and implement processes to enhance operational efficiency. Regularly assess current procedures and identify areas for improvement, ensuring streamlined operations and cost-effective practices.
*Training and Development: Identify training needs and implement development plans to enhance team capabilities. Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill improvement.
*Production Management: Ensure the smooth running of production schedules. Monitor all aspects of production to guarantee that products are delivered on time, within quality standards, and in full.
*Order Fulfillment: Oversee the order process from start to finish, ensuring that all customer orders are processed and delivered accurately and promptly.
*Customer Relations and Expansion: Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction levels. Identify opportunities for further expanding customer relationships and driving business growth.
*Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on key operational metrics, including production, team performance, and customer satisfaction.
Skills and Experience Required:
*Proven experience in an operations management role, within the textiles or manufacturing sector.
*Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
*Excellent problem-solving and process improvement abilities.
*Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks.
*Strong customer service orientation with experience in relationship management.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Proficient in using operational and business management software.
*A degree or relevant qualification in business management, operations, or a related field is desirable.
