Job Description:
As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll support the day-to-day finance operations, contributing to accurate financial reporting and efficient processes. This hybrid role combines the flexibility of remote work with the opportunity to collaborate in the vibrant London office.

Description
*Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including processing invoices and payments.
*Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
*Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts to maintain accurate records.
*Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
*Manage expense claims and credit card reconciliations.
*Assist in monitoring cash flow and updating financial trackers.
*Respond to internal and external finance-related queries.
*Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.
Profile
We’re seeking a candidate who is:
*Experienced: 1-2 years in a similar finance role, preferably within a tech or start-up environment.
*Qualified: Studying towards an AAT, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
*Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and strong Excel skills.
*Detail-Oriented: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
*Organised: Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
*Proactive: A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
*Team-Oriented: Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to collaborate across departments.
*Adaptable: Comfortable with hybrid working arrangements.
