Job Description:
Overview:
Equitas are seeking a committed full-time Maths/PSHCE Teacher. The successful candidate will take responsibility for planning and delivering engaging lessons in Maths and PSHCE, following pre-planned curriculums, and overseeing the marking and assessment of students’ work.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in Maths and PSHCE, ensuring alignment with the provided curriculum.
*Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to support academic progress.
*Deliver general cover lessons for other subjects, ensuring continuity in students’ learning.
*Manage classroom behavior effectively, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
*Collaborate with colleagues and school leaders to support the broader needs of the school.
*Use allocated PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time effectively to meet role objectives and manage workload.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Experience teaching Maths and/or PSHCE is highly desirable.
*Strong classroom management and communication skills.
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle a varied workload effectively.
