Our client is seeking an Engineering Parts Coordinator - the role is offered as a full-time permanent role - full training given.
Job: Parts Coordinator
Location: Hoo, Kent
Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday + OT
Salary: from £24,000 - £27,000 pa
Parts Coordinator - person specification:
*High level of accuracy - admin skills
*IT literate - accurate data entry skills
*Excellent telephone manner
*Strong interpersonal/communication and organisational skills
*Good planning, organisation skills with attention to detail
*Proactive Approach
*Willingness to learn
Parts Coordinator CORE ACTIVITIES:
Day to day management of parts department:
To carry out the day-to-day Parts Department Processes and ensure these are carried out promptly and efficiently (ie. Parts identification, ordering, receiving, issuing and returns.)
Ensure all deliveries into stock are received and checked correctly and that the relevant GRN is attached.
Manage van stocks, replenishment and stock accuracy
Manage daily perpetual and 6 monthly stocktakes
Preparation of internal and external parts quotations
Sourcing of parts
Service Warranty (where applicable)
Dealing with customer (internal and external) enquiries orders and problem solving (i.e., incorrect parts supplied etc.)
Invoicing
Run monthly reports as required.
Checking parts booked on engineer’s job sheets.
System housekeeping (ie. Accuracy of stock inventory)
