Financial Controller
Annual Salary: £45,556 - £70,761

Reed have teamed up with an award-winning e-commerce retailer based in the UK, operating since 2005, who are looking for a Finance Controller.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Download, analyse, and prepare monthly sales reports from all worldwide online platforms in multiple currencies using Excel.
*Calculate VAT on sales where applicable and prepare quarterly VAT returns.
*Post and reconcile monthly sales, VAT, income, and debtors.
*Conduct multi-currency bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
*Prepare monthly management accounts and oversee monthly payroll.
*Manage supplier payment runs.
*Liaise with HMRC, banks, accountants, and advisers as required.
*Supervise a small team, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a similar role as a Financial Controller or senior accountant/bookkeeper.
*Must have experience with bookkeeping to trial balance for SMEs and preparing monthly management accounts.
*Proficiency in using Sage 50 and strong Excel skills are essential.
*Experience in online e-commerce sales is crucial.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
