JB378: Senior Process Engineer
Salary: Competitive
Location: Melksham
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Continuous improvement of processes, using Lean tools, participating in and leading Kaizens.
*Process engineering, problem solving and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
*Managing and presenting data and improvement plans.
*Support NPI and specification of new equipment.
*Manage change process and documentation.
*Responsibility for all moulding processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
*5 years’ experience in a similar role, with Lean methodology.
*Problem solving skills and methodology.
*Good communication skills.
*Ability to read technical drawings.
*IT skills (Excel Visio).
*Practical hands-on person.
*Leadership skills.
*Project management experience.
*Significant process engineering exposure in an engineering-based manufacturing environment.
Desirable:
*Knowledge of materials (rubber, metallurgy, plastics).
*Basic finance.
*CAD skills.
