Their UK Catering division is the largest provider of in-flight catering and retail services in the UK, employing over 3500 people across 15 units and serving over 27 million meals each year. Innovative use of technology, marketing and sales support, on top of operational excellence, has enabled them to build a great reputation within their sector.

They are seeking a Head of Finance, based in Manchester, as part of a journey of continual improvement, change and transformation. It is a fantastic opportunity to assume a prominent position within a dynamic finance team.

Leading a small team of accountants, taking charge of month and year-end closing activities, financial statements and reports, this role will also have responsibility for implementing and maintaining internal controls, identifying process improvements and ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded in an accurate and timely manner.

You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) and provide a very strong blend of both balance sheet and operational acumen. The Head of Finance role is as much about your ability to understand the drivers of the P&L and what lies behind the numbers as it is running a robust and accurate balance sheet process and will call upon your commercial skills, leadership presence and stakeholder management. ERP implementation experience would also be beneficial.
