A leading tech business is looking to hire a Financial Controller on a 16-month FTC basis to join their team as a maternity cover. As a key member of the team, you will be primarily responsible in taking ownership of the day-to-day financial operations of the business and lead the team whilst the business is growing exponentially.
In this role, you will oversee the operational finance function, with a core view of embedding a high-performance culture, ensuring the processes across the team are robust with the ultimate aim being to support the wider business’ ambitious growth trajectory. You will be leading the operational finance team, whilst reviewing and supervising the core monthly processes. You will be overseeing the technical accounting function, with management and oversight of the revenue accounting function also. Additionally, you will have the responsibility of leading the audit for the business and their counterpart. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will carry out ad hoc projects to support the team, including some operational finance inputs for other businesses across the group.
This role requires a qualified accountant with significant experience working in a dynamic environment, leading a Finance team in its day to day operations and delivering all core financial processes with proven ability to streamline operations..
