Job Description:
About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Stockport Area. As a support worker, you will play a crucial role in providing care and assistance to adults and children. Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting individuals in their daily activities, promoting independence and well-being.
*Assisting with personal care, medication administration, and meal preparation.
*Implementing behaviour management strategies to address challenging behaviours.
*Building positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have:
*Experience: Previous experience working with children and adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Care
*Must have at least 6 months UK care experience and Right to work in the UK
*An up-to-date DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service – Should you need to apply for a new DBS we can support you with this.
*An up-to-date CV with all employment history
*To be able to commit to an assignment, to ensure structure and stability for our service users.
*Skills: Excellent communication skills, empathy and understanding approach.
*Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
