Job Description:
Maintennace Operative
Location: Amazon Fulfilment Centre, RM18 7AN
Contract Type: Temporary (initial 4 week contract) Perm opportunities available
Hours: Monday to Friday
Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, supportive team, opportunities for professional growth.
About the Role:
As a maintennace operative you will play a crucial role in maintaining the optimal condition of the Amazon Fulfilment Centre. Your responsibilities will include a range of tasks, from routine maintenance to repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
*Preventive Maintenance (PPM): Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure the long-term reliability of building systems.
*General Maintenance: Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, such as fixing leaks, replacing lightbulbs, and repairing minor damage to walls and ceilings.
*Toilet Checks and Basic Plumbing: Inspect and maintain toilets, sinks, and other plumbing fixtures, addressing any issues promptly.
*Tiling, Painting, and Plastering: Undertake tiling, painting, and plastering tasks to improve the appearance and functionality of the building.
*Ad-hoc Repairs: Respond to urgent repair requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Required Skills and Experience:
*Proven experience in building maintenance and repair
*Strong practical skills, including the ability to use a variety of tools and equipment
*Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*A commitment to safety and quality standards
