About the Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their learning journeys. Working alongside teachers and support staff, you will help ensure every student receives a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities *Provide tailored support to students in group settings or on a one-to-one basis.
*Assist teachers in adapting resources and activities to meet individual student needs.
*Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence in learning.
*Encourage student engagement and provide emotional and academic support.
*Collaborate with staff to support students, including those with additional learning requirements or SEND needs.
Who You Are *Enthusiastic about working with secondary school students to help them achieve their best.
*A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills to engage with students and staff.
*Adaptable and a team player who thrives in a busy school environment.
*Previous experience in education, childcare, or youth settings is a bonus—but above all, your passion, empathy, and willingness to learn are what matter most.
