Job Description:

We are working with a successful consumer products business who creates products for leading retailers across the UK and Europe. They are looking for an Account Manager to join the team to look after their key accounts, fostering great relationships, and ensuring all orders are manufacturing and delivered on time and to brief.
We are looking for someone who is a natural relationship builder, is proactive, detail oriented, and has great project management skills. Experience working with own label / bespoke product for retail and working with high volumes would be a benefit. Key responsibilities include:
*Building strong, positive working relationships with your accounts
*Providing the very best level of service to your retail customers at all times, representing the brand and resolving any issues swiftly
*Working closely with internal buying, design, NPD and logistics teams to ensure orders are delivered accurately and swiftly to customers
*Critical path management to ensure agreed order and delivery dates are met
*Attending meetings with key retailers as required
*Ensuring any labelling and packaging requirements are communicated to the wider business and vendor base to aid accurate production and swift delivery
*Working with the compliance team to ensure all necessary testing, quality checks, and certifications are obtained
*Managing and mentoring the sales team, including onboarding, training, development and workload management
Skills & experience required:
*Experience in a similar Account Management position with leading UK retailers
*Experience working with retail buyers on private label product ranges would be ideal
*An excellent communicator with a natural ability to form good working relationships, both with internal teams and external partners and customers
*Ability to manage complex accounts with high volumes and SKU counts
*Great project management skills, someone who thrives in a fast paced role
*A customer-centric approach and desire to provide outstanding customer experience is a must
*An understanding of forecasting and report analysis, with excellent attention to detail
*Good MS Excel skills
*Proactive & driven approach, wanting to take ownership and drive projects forward
