Job Description:
IT Project Coordinator- 9 month Fixed term contract
Farnborough, Hampshire (Hybrid)
Project Coordinator required on a Fixed Term contract until September 2025. The primary responsibility will be support the delivery of IT projects for customers with varying degrees of complexity.
The IT Project Coordinator will work closely with the PM and key stakeholders and maintain required project documentation to enable successful project outcomes. The IT Project Coordinator will be expected to assist with the management and organisation of the workload assigned and liaise with the appropriate teams when required. The IT Project Coordinator reports primarily to the PMO Team Lead but will need to work closely with all teams across the wider business.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*Support the Project Manager with the delivery of IT projects to time, budget and scope.
*Develop, build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships both internally and externally in order to achieve project objectives.
*Competent escalation management
*Produce timely updates to share according to agreed communication strategies both internally and externally
*Maintain project documentation accurately to enable successful outcomes and project delivery in a controlled environment
*Coordinate and plan resource requirements with the Project Manager to ensure project deadlines are considered at all stages.
*Compliance with Project lifecycle and associated processes to ensure best practice.
*Ability to manage and lead on smaller projects independently with the support of the Project Manager.
*Assist in the scheduling of regular meetings.
*Create and update project plans with the support of the Project Manager.
*Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders.
*Measure and report on project performance with the support of the Project Manager.
*Write and review meeting minutes and share with stakeholders.
Requirements and skills
*Work experience as an IT Project Administrator, IT Project Coordinator or similar role
*Experience of working in a fast moving IT project team
*Ability to support the delivery of multiple projects concurrently.
*Proven experience of RAID Management and key elements and practicalities of project management
*Experience of Microsoft applications.
*Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
*Excellent literacy and numeracy skills and a keen attention to detail
*The ability to take the lead where required to ensure project deliverables are prioritised.
*Confident decision making
*Solid organization and time-management skills
