ROLE- Graduate Product Design Engineer

LOCATION- High Wycombe

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £25,000-£27,000, dependent on experience 

My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for a Graduate Design Engineer to join their team in High Wycombe on a permanent basis.    

The Graduate Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: *Degree qualified (BSc or BEng) in Product Design, Industrial Design or similar
*Interested in developing a career in Design Engineering / Product Design 
*A sound understanding of Engineering processes and materials 
*Previous work experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial
*Be proficient using 2D and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Draughtsight etc.
*Hands-on technical experience through your course 
*Able to work to specific requirements and deadlines
*Excellent attention to detail
*Organised with excellent communication and teamwork skills 

The Graduate Design Engineer roles will involve: *Using 2D and 3D CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings
*Liaising with manufacturing providers
*Creating the required documentation for design as well as project reports / plans
*Updating 3D models and drawings
*Inputting parts into the MRP system creating BOMs
*Checking drawings for sign off
*Working in a small multi-disciplinary team on varied projects
