Job Description:
Kenneth Brian Associates are currently recruiting for a market leading business based in Chessington in their search for an experienced Financial Controller.
They are looking for a skilled Financial Specialist to become a key part of their growing organization. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in finance, with hands-on experience using Sage. In this position, you will oversee financial documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver strategic financial insights to guide critical business initiatives.
This is a hybrid role, 1-2 days in the office a week.
Key Duties:
*Produce and manage comprehensive financial reports aligned with accounting standards.
*Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
*Perform routine account and bank reconciliations to verify data accuracy.
*Leverage financial tools and software to optimize operations.
*Support budgeting and forecasting activities for effective financial planning.
*Contribute to tax return preparation, ensuring adherence to tax laws.
*Work closely with other teams, offering financial expertise to inform key decisions.
Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience in finance or accounting roles.
* Expertise in Sage
* Strong grasp of financial principles and best practices.
* Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment, showcasing strong communication skills.
* At least 5 years of relevant experience required.
* Prior leadership experience, including mentoring and training teams, is essential.
