Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Burton upon Trent (Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
Salary: £30,000 + Great Benefits

Key Responsibilities:
*Accurately processing and reconciling invoices, receipts, and payments.
*Managing accounts payable and receivable records with precision.
*Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations.
*Supporting month-end and year-end financial close processes.
*Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
*Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve financial queries.
*Monitoring and managing expenses to ensure compliance with company policies.
*Providing support for ad hoc finance projects and operational improvements.
About You:
We are looking for a candidate who:
*Has previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role.
*Is skilled in using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
*Demonstrates strong numeracy skills and exceptional attention to detail.
*Is proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
*Communicates effectively and builds positive working relationships with colleagues and external partners.
*Thrives in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
*Adopts a proactive and solution-focused approach to work.
Qualifications:
*AAT qualified (or studying towards qualification) is highly desirable.
*Minimum GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) at grade C or above.
