Position: Science Teacher
*Location: North of Sheffield - Picturesque Rural Setting
*Contract: Long-term Temporary (ASAP in January 2025 to July 2025)
*Potential Extension: Into the New Academic Year or Permanent Role
*Working Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
*Pay: Excellent rates, dependent on your pay scale
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to secondary school students.
*Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and achievement.
*Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to support their development.
*Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Science curriculum.
*Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the overall educational experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this position.
*Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary school level.
*Strong subject knowledge and a passion for making Science accessible and enjoyable for students.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
