Exciting Opportunity: Credit Controller - £30,000
Location: Derby
Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for a new challenge? We are partnering with a leading consultancy business in Derby to find a talented individual to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a company that values expertise and collaboration.
The Role:
As a Credit Controller, you’ll be at the heart of managing the business’s credit processes and ensuring a smooth cash flow. Your key responsibilities will include:
*Managing the sales ledger and ensuring invoices are processed and paid on time.
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships to resolve payment issues and queries.
*Conducting credit checks and setting up client credit limits.
*Producing regular reports on outstanding debt and cashflow forecasting.
*Collaborating with internal teams to streamline financial operations.
About You:
The ideal candidate will bring:
*Proven experience in a credit control role.
*Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
*A keen eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills.
*Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
