We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our team in Cambridgeshire. This role involves planning and marking responsibilities, working Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 15:30. The ideal candidate will have a passion for science and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
Day-to-day of the role: *Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
*Assess and mark students’ work, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
*Maintain up-to-date records of students’ progress and achievements.
*Develop and implement strategies to improve students’ learning experiences.
*Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the curriculum and learning environment.
*Participate in school meetings and events.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Enhanced DBS for children and adults, or willingness to obtain one.
*Teaching qualifications such as QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) are preferred but not essential.
*Strong knowledge of the science curriculum.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to engage and inspire students.
*Strong organisational and planning skills.
