We are now looking for a Head of Ocean Regeneration & Sustainable Seafood to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working from home with occasional travel to meetings and events.
The Benefits
- Salary of £40,500 - £45,500 per annum
-Annual leave starting at 25 days, plus Bank Holidays, increasing with service, and extra time off between Christmas and New Year

The Role
As the Head of Ocean Regeneration & Sustainable Seafood, you will lead our work to deliver a range of innovative restoration and recovery programmes.
Specifically, you will oversee our work on regenerative and responsible aquaculture and ensure our Good Fish Guide drives sustainable seafood choices.
Collaborating with other leaders to enable ecological improvement in the ocean, you will also provide strategic oversight and leadership for our projects, innovation, impact, and alignment with our strategic goals.
This role focuses on strategy and leadership for key work areas, programme development, organisational impact and overall profile, with particular focus on external communications, and the management of our project teams.
About You
To be considered as the Head of Ocean Regeneration & Sustainable Seafood, you will need:
- Proven experience of conservation management and/or marine restoration projects
- Strong project management experience, with a track record of success in keeping projects delivered on time and within budget
- Experience in setting clear expectations, providing direction, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Knowledge of the UK fishing and aquaculture sectors, knowledge of policies and standards relevant to the role
- The proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team to achieve goals
- The ability to conduct regular performance reviews, give constructive feedback, and support professional growth
