Job Description:
Role: Supply Teacher
Location: Northampton
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Flexible
Pay: £150 - £200 per day
Reed is currently working with secondary schools across Northampton, supporting them recruit Supply teachers to cover both daily and long-term supply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality lessons across all year groups in line with the school’s curriculum.
• Maintain high standards of teaching and learning, ensuring the students remain engaged and motivated.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a positive and productive learning environment.
• Provide feedback to students on their work, highlighting areas of improvement.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.
• Uphold the school’s values and contribute positively to the school community.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent desireable
• Experience teaching a range of year groups (primary or secondary experience is acceptable).
• Strong classroom management skills and a positive, proactive approach to teaching.
• Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and respond to the diverse needs of students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for education and a commitment to helping every student achieve their potential.
• Available to start immediately.
