We are seeking an English Teacher to join our team in Cambridgeshire. This role involves planning and marking responsibilities and offers a competitive daily rate based on qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to student learning and development.
Day-to-day of the role: *Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
*Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the English curriculum and pedagogy.
*Mark and provide constructive feedback on student work.
*Create a stimulating and safe learning environment.
*Engage in continuous professional development activities.
*Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and learning outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Enhanced DBS for children and adults, or willingness to obtain one.
*Teaching qualifications (QTS and PGCE) are preferred but not essential.
*Proven experience in teaching English, or a strong knowledge of the English language and literature.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to motivate and inspire students.
*Strong organisational and time-management skills.
