Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their technology department on an initial 3-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key projects, including the launch of digital products, internal systems implementations, website development, and business integrations. The role requires strong stakeholder management, effective communication, and adherence to project management best practices. One of the key business critical projects is a large royalties project. Any experience within Royalties and / or the publishing sector would be highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Manage software/systems development or implementation projects
- Apply project management principles and best practices
- Proactively manage tasks and ensure deadlines are met
- Manage stakeholders and maintain key supplier relationships
- Provide mentoring and support on projects
- Establish, monitor, and report on budgets
Qualifications
- Experience in managing software development or systems implementation projects
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Prince2, PMI, or Agile
- Familiarity with MS Project, JIRA, and Confluence
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Proactive and innovative with an excellent eye for detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and juggle workloads

-Knowledge of Biblio
Day-to-day
The role involves managing the end-to-end delivery of new projects, utilizing tools such as JIRA and Confluence, and providing informal mentoring and support on projects.
