Maintenance Engineer
Location: Sevenoaks
Monday - Friday - 20 days annual leave - Competitive Salary - Workplace pension scheme - Fully equipped company vehicle, mobile phone, and laptop - Specialist tools, hand tools, and role-specific uniform.
Are you ready for an exciting and varied career in engineering? Join our dynamic team as a Farming Equipment Engineer, where you’ll work on installations, routine servicing, and breakdowns for advanced farming equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Service, maintain, and install farming equipment.
*Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
*Preventative maintenance of farming machinery and related equipment.
*Out-of-hours technical service on a rota basis.
*Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
*Identify opportunities for process improvements.
*Build strong relationships with customers and represent the team positively.
*Complete administrative tasks promptly and accurately.
*Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order.
About You:
*A mechanical background with an electrical bias.
*Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills (training provided for the right candidate).
*Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, or pneumatics (advantageous).
*Refrigeration or welding skills (desirable but not essential).
*Exceptional customer-facing and communication skills.
*A proactive, organised, and flexible approach to work.
*A clean full UK driving license.
