Job Description:
Are you an experienced HR professional ready to lead and inspire? A family-run business is seeking a Group HR Manager (Part Time Maternity Cover), 3 days per week basis to join their team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape HR strategies, support the workforce, and drive organisational success.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage and develop the HR team, providing coaching and ensuring training is up to date.
*Act as a trusted advisor to managers and stakeholders on employee relations and HR best practices.
*Lead learning and development initiatives to enhance staff capability and succession planning.
*Ensure compliance by updating policies, contracts, and handbooks in line with legislation.
*Oversee HR databases, payroll coordination, pension schemes, and GDPR compliance.
*Manage recruitment efforts and foster staff well-being through regular meetings and venue visits.
*Collaborate with external partners, such as recruitment agencies, lawyers, and union representatives.
*Provide regular reporting to the Board of Directors and contribute to strategic discussions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
*CIPD and /or equivalent HR Manager experience at a similar level
*A proactive self-starter with excellent initiative and stakeholder communication.
*Technologically savvy and adaptable to dynamic environments.
*Approachable, organised, and detail-oriented, with a friendly and consistent demeanour.
*A team player who thrives in a fast-paced business.
