About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Optimisation Specialist on a fixed term basis for 12 months. In this role you will play a key supporting role in the delivery of the E2E SC Transformation Programme at mill and cluster level, focused on gathering, standardising and creating insight from data relating to shortfalls in performance or creating data-based answers and therefore solutions to problems identified in the programmes.
Key responsibilities:
*Analyse and support execution of Supply Chain improvements
*Loss Analysis (Data gathering and reconciliation), Network Optimisation, Master data compliance analysis
*Production Planning Optimisation: Support for process review and implement change
*Identify and drive resolution of data quality issues either directly or in conjunction with the Supply Chain, Data & IT support teams
*Contribute to the delivery of the E2E SC Programme for specific programmes on time and according to expectations
*Analyse shipment data and tender proposals to model the best cost solutions.
About You:
*Degree or equivalent experience
*Evidence in implementing and managing diverse projects ideally in supply chain projects / Logistics initiatives in a transformational environment.
*Understanding of logistics operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes, with an understanding of a multi-million pan-European market
*Advanced Excel skills and experience in data analytics reporting tools. Previous experience with systems such as ERP, TMS and/or an WMS will be a plus
*Excellent organisational, problem-solving and analytical skills
*Ability to build strong trusting relationships and influence with cross functional and cross geographical stakeholders and teams
*Fluency in English, and ideally another European language.
